Mission Projects Fellowship

IN THE BEGINNING ...
The year was 1967. The culture of our nation seemed to be engulfed in the morally loose lifestyle of the "hippie" generation. The "God is dead" philosophy had affected many people; indifference and apathy had invaded many churches of our land. Where was God and His precepts?

But God was not dead and was still at work through His people to win many to the true knowledge of Himself and submission to His will. Pastors and missionaries were faithfully giving out the Word of God and ministering in many ways to the spiritual needs of the people of the world.

However, those who gave out the Gospel were often hindered by the lack of quality up-to-date equipment. Many missionaries were spending large amounts of time on tasks that had little to do with their ministry.

Recognizing this fact, a group of Christians gathered together one evening in 1967 to discuss ways to solve the problem. They realized that other Christians might want to help in this venture and decided to form an organization which they named Mission Projects Fellowship.

One of those present was a businessman, Frank Clifford, whom the Lord led to establish the structure and operating procedures of Mission Projects Fellowship. Frank was elected as the first president and served faithfully in that capacity for 25 years until the Lord took him home in 1992.

The Board of MPF has rededicated themselves to continuing the vision given to us by Frank many years ago.
