RISHAMA INTERNATIONAL runs the Rishama Faith and Hope Christian Academy in
central Nigeria. They currently have 420 students; many are orphaned and others come from critically impoverished families. Rishama seeks to give hope to these children by providing them with love, education, a safe place to live, proper medical care, and the truth of the gospel.

Electric supply is unpredictable in Nigeria, and what few lights the academy has are run by AC power, which is sometimes off for days, or by generators that use expensive diesel fuel. Rishama would like to transition to reliable solar power for the upcoming school year, so MPF is funding equipment for a solar power hookup.
